A Look At The History Of Marketing Channels

I found this Graphic Information and I think it really interesting. In the past media seem to be printed ads like Poster and Billboard. Then the birth of radio really change advertisement industry and we can say that in the past radio was the most effective media, people really believe in what broadcasting via radio and listen to radio drama but media changing again after TV born, TV change ads from still picture or voice ads to movie ads which merge both visual and sound together so at that time radio become weaker media and has to be adapted (as we can see nowadays radio has specific kind of program and clearly aim to different target audience such as news, music, talk show.). TV still be the strongest media even if computer and internet was born because computer and internet not really popular back then. I think Microsoft inventing Windows is the point that make computer become popular because when I was young computer was really complex and hard to understand, you have to type command to make it working but Windows change command into interface that easier to use. After computer become more popular, development of internet is the other thing that change media. Via internet we can receive news form other country instantly and if you send e-mail, it really faster than traditional letter which take time for 1-2 days and there are new way to communicate with customer via internet including it is the media which can interact with audience so from the picture and the popular trend for now is social network (Facebook, Twitter) or blog ( WordPress, Blogger). In internet era, there are many new marketing channels every years and in the future I think there will be more marketing channels appear and the trend most likely to be social network.
